Waratah handles both Huacaya and Suri fleece across white, light fawn and coloured fibre lines.
Australian alpaca fibre is recognised for its clean handling, consistent micron ranges and strong breeding standards, producing fibre suited to high quality textile applications.
Through the Waratah co-operative network we are able to:

Fleece is typically supplied in nominal bale weights of approximately 150kg.

All fleece supplied through Waratah is professionally sorted and classed in accordance with recognised industry standards.
Fibre is prepared following the Australian Alpaca Association Fleece Classing Code of Practice and is classed by AWEX accredited alpaca classers, ensuring consistency across micron ranges, colour lines and preparation.
